The Tilta Illusion Magnetic Circular Polarizer Filter is the core of Tilta’s new Illusion Filter system. It is built for photographers and filmmakers who need speed and flexibility on location. The magnetic connection makes it fast and easy to attach to any compatible lens.

Built around a fast magnetic attachment system, the Illusion lineup combines multiple commonly used filter effects into fewer physical components while keeping the overall setup compact, reducing the need for stacked filters and minimizing common issues such as vignetting and color shifts.

The Circular Polarizer is available in three variations:

Standard CPL — reduces reflections and glare while maintaining color depth and contrast.
CPL + ND (5 Stops) — integrates five stops of neutral density for greater exposure control in bright conditions.
CPL + Black Mist 1/4 — features Black Mist 1/4 for a softer, more diffused cinematic look.

Each polarizer attaches magnetically to the included adapter ring. Then, you can lock it in place and stack it with the VND Adapter. As a result, you get a Variable ND range of 1–5 or 6–10 stops. This makes it simple to adjust exposure as lighting changes.

The frames use aluminum for strength and durability. In addition, the glass has a cinema-grade Full Spectrum (FS) coating. This coating reduces reflectivity and keeps colors accurate. Furthermore, the water- and oil-repellent surface makes the filter easy to clean.

The system supports 77mm and 82mm lenses. Moreover, additional adapter ring sizes are available separately. Whether you shoot outdoors, near water, or in run-and-gun settings, this filter helps you work faster without losing image quality.
