Unlike universal camera cages, the Tilta Canon R8 Camera Cage is custom-designed exclusively for the Canon EOS R8. As a result, it fits securely around the camera body while maintaining full access to the battery compartment, memory card slot, LCD screen, buttons, ports, and camera controls. A dedicated opening also allows convenient routing of a dummy battery cable for external power solutions.
Professional Accessory Mounting
The cage offers numerous mounting interfaces for expanding your camera setup. Therefore, users can attach external monitors, microphones, wireless transmitters, LED lights, articulating arms, SSD mounts, and other filmmaking accessories. Multiple anti-twist 1/4″-20 threaded holes, a 3/8″-16 mounting point, two cold shoe receivers, and an integrated NATO rail provide exceptional flexibility for professional rig configurations.
Integrated Arca-Style Base
An integrated Arca-style quick release base allows fast transitions between compatible tripods, monopods, and support systems.
