The DJI Osmo Mobile 8P Creator Combo is a professional 3-axis smartphone gimbal built for creators who need stable footage, precise framing, and advanced subject tracking in a compact setup. It combines 8th-generation 3-axis stabilization, ActiveTrack 8.0, direct smartphone connection, and a built-in extension rod and tripod. The gimbal supports smartphones weighing 170–300g, with a recommended phone width of 67–84mm and thickness of 6.9–11mm.
The upgraded ActiveTrack 8.0 provides more reliable subject tracking, while the DJI OM Multifunctional Module 2expands tracking to people, cats, dogs, vehicles, and other objects. The Osmo Mobile 8P also supports direct phone connection through NFC, allowing compatible smartphones to pair with the gimbal and use native camera-app tracking.
The gimbal provides 360° unlimited pan rotation, together with controlled roll and tilt movement for dynamic camera moves, low-angle shots, and panoramic footage. Its integrated extension rod reaches 215mm, while the built-in tripod provides a convenient hands-free setup. With a 3350mAh battery, the Osmo Mobile 8P offers up to 10 hours of operating time under DJI’s specified test conditions and can also charge a connected smartphone during use.
The Creator Combo adds a transmitter and Mobile Receiver for wireless audio, giving creators a more complete setup for vlogging, interviews, social media videos, and mobile filmmaking. Together with the gimbal’s stabilization, tracking, remote framing, and smartphone charging capabilities, the package provides a flexible solution for creators who want to shoot professional-looking content directly from a smartphone.
