Tilta Clamp-On Adapter for MB-T12 Matte Box (134mm)

Cine lenses come in a wide range of front diameters, and the MB-T12 handles that by changing its back rather than its body. This 134mm clamp-on adapter is the back for lenses with a 134mm outer barrel: the matte box hangs on the lens itself, with no rods and no support arms in the way.

The adapter drops onto the matte box through keyhole slots and needs no tools to change, so swapping between lens sizes on set takes a few seconds. A single thumbscrew then tightens the clamp evenly around the barrel.

Construction is aluminium with stainless steel hardware — rigid enough to hold a fully loaded three-stage matte box without flex, and finished black so nothing kicks light back into the glass. The rectangular outer shape sits flush against the back of the MB-T12 and seals the gap that would otherwise let light in.

Pair it with the MB-T12 three-stage matte box, or keep one of each back size in the case so one matte box covers your whole lens set.
